They are basically a digital service that, via an advanced matching engine, connects people changing homes with each other based on their wishes. Lägenhetsbyte.se's mission is to create mobility in an otherwise immobile market and to make it easy to change homes when the need arises. Their vision is to be the obvious gateway for all housing exchanges in Sweden and Europe. Their customers are located all over the country, but for the most part in our larger cities, where it is more difficult to find new accommodation.

About the role

Lägenhetsbyte is at the unique point of taking their data analytics and real-time decisioning to the next level. They are now looking for a Data Scientist to help transform their data into actionable insights and business opportunities.
You will design, develop, and maintain the data & analytics strategy in collaboration with the product team. Besides working with modeling you will also build and work on the data pipelines which feed their models. This is a key role where you drive development and realization of Lägenhetsbytes data platform, gather insights, improve customer experience, and drive monetization. Therefore, as a Data Scientist at Lägenhetsbyte you will contribute directly to solving problems, improving the product and driving growth.

With responsibility for the Data & Analytics within the product organization you will:

• Investigate and get a good overview of data resources 
• Setup the infrastructure to establish capabilities to analyze data effectively
• Driving data science projects end to end, starting from a business problem, building hypotheses for a solution, defining data requirements, creating a prototype, implementing it into production, and measuring the business impact
• Contribute to the discussion related to tech-stack choices, improving ways of working and prioritizing between problems and projects

You background

We believe that you have 3+ years of experience from working with data science, data analys and/or business intelligence who is searching. You are looking for that next step in your career and you thrive when your work has a direct impact on the business. 

You are an analytical self starter with a good understanding for business and how to capitalize on data. You have good communication and team work skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.

• 3+ years’ experience of working within roles as Data Analyst or Data Scientist
• Academic degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent 
• Analytical skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze and put numbers into insights 
• Proven ability to successfully drive analysis or other projects from planning to
  execution and delivery 
• A proven history of building and deploying Data Science solutions in production,
  preferably for different use cases 
• Great SQL skills and experience working with large data sets 
• Experience of working with cloud platforms 
• Good understanding of data engineering practices and data modeling
